Plant Based PELA iPhone 6 Case

I stumbled upon the sustainable brand PELA when I was looking for sustainable iPhone 6 cases.
I recently upgraded my iPhone and got the 6 so I was in need of a new case to protect it.
Obviously, I wanted something sustainable, durable and trendy! So I found the PELA iPhone case, which I immediately loved.
First of all, I love the concept! All of their cases are made with plants…PLANTS I SAY! They’re made with Flaxstic, a plant based bioplastic made in Canada to replace the traditional plastic products. This means they are biodegradable and 100% made in Canada (in Saskatchewan to be more specific).
What is even more awesome is that 1% of PELA sales is donated to environmental non-profit groups, part of the 1% for the Planet. You can read more about it on their website http://pelacase.myshopify.com.
I got myself the white PELA Case for iPhone 6 (it comes in black, lavender, green, orange, natural, and blue), yet they do make cases for iPhone 5/5s and they also make custom cases.
All of their eco-packaging (I say all!!) is made out of 100% recycled paperboard.
The design is created in such a way that protects your phone and doesn’t add too much mass.
I simply love this color and how it looks and feels at the touch (very smooth).
