Smooth Your Day with a Smoothie!

Sunrise! It’s time to get up, wash up, dress up and ready to conquer your day! But wait, you might need to energize yourself first (what's on the inside is as important as the outside)…hmm…what is better than a cup of organic/vegan flavourful smoothie to give a boost to that brain of yours and take control of what is to come on your way!

This purple lemonade smoothie can definitely rejuvenate you with a quick blender mix of organic frozen fruits and organic certified almond milk! 

I got the recipe from a food blog called Blissful Basil (check it out!) where you can pretty much find anything relative to vegan and organic foods.

Though, I made some changes around Ashley’s (blogger of Blissful Basil) recipe called Pink Sunrise Lemonade by adding my own touch to the formula :)

I replaced the frozen bananas with blueberries and the water with almond milk :)

Here is the modified recipe with my own ingredients:

·      1 1/2 cup frozen organic strawberries

·      1 cup frozen organic blueberries

·      2 tablespoon lemon juice

·      1 cup almond milk organic certified 

This can also be the perfect drink for a post workout and or after a long day of work!
