So I’m off to California in a few weeks and wanted to buy a nail polish that suits the warm weather and gives some vividness for summertime.

I knew I wanted in white, but wasn’t sure which brand will satisfy my needs.

I’m starting to be passionate about non-toxic beauty products and I came across the organic brand Butter LONDON.

Butter LONDON is an amazing beauty product and I can frankly say that I am in love with the color, the feel, the way this nail polish looks, just everything.

Let’s talk about the ingredients.

Butter London nail polish is made out of non-toxic ingredients. It does not contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP or Parabens.

Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP: Harmful?

Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP are chemicals responsible for ‘cancer, birth defects, respiratory problems, neurological damage’ (http://www.organicbeautytalk.com).

DBP is apparently a reproductive and developmental toxin. Toluene can affect the central nervous system and can cause headaches, fatigue, etc.

Formaldehyde is as we all know carcinogen and can cause throat, skin and eye irritation. (http://www.organicbeautytalk.com).

Butter LONDON has created a new formula and left out all of these chemicals to generate a cool toxin free nail polish that is trendy as well.

50 shades of WHITE

Aha…I got myself the 50 shades of white creamy Butter London nail polish called Cotton Buds.

Why cotton buds?

The texture is soft, solid, and white as cotton buds!

Topcoat Duo?

I also bought the topcoat combo/duo.

1. The Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat (see through bottle)

2. Matte Finish: Shine Free Topcoat (black cover)

The topcoats are a success! They work just as they say they do… When you apply the hardwear, it gives shininess to your nails and the Matte Finish gives a shine free effect. I have to say I love both.

You can use the Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat if you want to have that glam allure.

The Matte Finish can be useful for casual chic soirées, for casual days, for jean days, for lunch, for summer and winter nights, anytime.

I also received three nail polish and make up wipe/scrubber samples. There is also a foundation coat, which I am planning to buy, now that I tried these three. You apply it before the nail polish as a foundation.
