Earth Month
Our planet is comprised mostly of water about 71% and the rest is all continents and islands.
This is our planet earth giving us life and what is it that we, humans give back to the beautiful blue marble?
Do we need to fly to space to see how lucky and privileged we are to have a place, which we can easily call home? No, I don’t think so.
Then why do we keep harming our home when it is given to us with all its beauty? Humans are producers, consumers and demolishers. Is that why? Is that a good and truthful reasoning?
Why not change our lifestyle? Educate ourselves and if others can’t for themselves, teach them to do better. Everyone should join this movement, at least people who truly can.
This green movement has already been started a long time ago even before the Kyoto Protocol i.e. recycling, sustainable engineering, sustainable architecture, climate change protocols and IO conferences. The list goes on and on. Everything I learned for years at the university has always been attentive to the green movement.
How does the environment affect the economy? What are the ways to improve the economy and the environment of impoverished nations? All these questions have always been linked to politics and development.
And today this green movement is also booming in the fashion industry. I am truly honored to be apart of this green generation.
When I had the idea to combine sustainability with fashion, I was still at school, on my way to graduate and working with IO and NGOs.
I thought I could apply sustainability to fashion because both ardently interest me a lot. And I did. I was not wrong at all.
Serving the planet by joining the green movement together can change our world for the better. Do not waste time and do not miss on the opportunity to help, because we never know when it’ll be too late for our kinds.
Everyone should do his or her part!
If consuming less presents a problem to some, then consume moderately and more sustainable instead. Create things by using the old and recycle.
Don’t waste! Be more eco-friendly! Use less of the resources that damage or harm our home.
Take part of an organization to learn more about the environment. Learn more about this measure that creates a much more tuneful ecosystem for us to live in.
Be the change! You are the change! Go, Start and Act Now! Because for S&C everyday is EARTH Day!
Stay tuned,
Love,
