#HappyInternationalWomensDay
Women have been undervalued for so many years, but fortunately/ unfortunately (depending on how you perceive this situation either as an improvement or as a very slow progress) things have improved just on a small scale over the years.
Yes, that is right! In so many professions, women are still underpaid. In so many cultures, women are still belittled.
Though women have done so much over the years, in terms of labour and I still consider them both morally and physically stronger than men (because the moral affects on the physique), they are perceived as weak. We have proved that not to be true.
Women can carry almost any type of pain more than men do. We get sick, we take care of ourselves; when it is THAT time of the month, we sure do take care of our bodies, meanwhile carry the pain of pregnancy and the pain of having to pop that baby out.
We do so much stuff that involves both moral and physical agony.
Above all, let us not forget that women work professions outside of home, wetheir it is as nurses, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, politicians, firefighters, actors, musicians, designers, sportswoman, astronomers, chefs etc., they come home to take care of their families (if they have one), if not, they fight to maintain their status in society.
Women are fighters battling the inequalities of our preceding and our ‘modern’ societies.
March 8th is a day for gratitude for everything women have done. In fact, every day should be a day to appreciate STRONG, INDEPENDENT, BEAUTIFUL, INVINCIBLE, INSPIRING, HARD WORKING WOMEN!
I’ve heard that strong women intimidate BOYS and only true MEN know how to appreciate them.
Hence, there is no excuse for Men to value their Women :)
Tough women can be confident in taking risks, can be convincing and can be extremely sexy (cause confidence appeals to men).
Yet, everything I wrote to this point, involves men. Happy International Women’s Day to all the women in the world, but let us not forget the role of MEN as much as ours. Because, in my opinion, we sure compare ourselves to men which only means that men have their part to do as well.
As Mark Twain states: “What would men be without women? Scarce, sir...mighty scarce.” And as I state “What would women be without men? Scarce, ma'am…mighty scarce.”
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL EQUALITY DAY TO ALL!!!
Love,
MW
