Make-up has always been essential for a girl when going out with friends, on a date, for work, to run errands, etc. Normally, a foundation is used to conceal the imperfections of the skin. When you apply a foundation that is right for you, your face glows.

I am really excited to present a brief review of the Juice Beauty make-up foundation I bought.

This is the certified organic foundation by Juice Beauty in SAND color.

It contains all organic ingredients such as organic acai & goji berries, antioxidant-rich grape seed, aloe and minerals.

Nevertheless, I will remain very honest with you throughout this blog post about this product in regards to my skin and complexion. I have created a rating scale: SO-SO, LIKE, HATE.

Shall we begin?

SO-SO: I thought the SAND color did not sit well with my natural complexion. Juice Beauty offers three different colors for this foundation (Ivory, Sand and Tan). I think it would’ve been better if I bought Ivory or if Juice Beauty can create a color between Ivory and Sand.

LIKE: I liked how this feels on the skin. It’s very refreshing and it doesn’t itch the skin after a full 12-hour working day.

LIKE: I liked the smell of the foundation. It smells like berries and grape. You can easily escape from reality with that smell. Imagine a sandy beach on the West Coast! Yaaaa…

HATE: This foundation was not able to cover all of my blemishes (Isn’t that the point of a foundation?). I have a very sensitive skin and I wasn’t able to cover the imperfections, au contraire it showed them even more! In addition, it left random white spots on my face.

FINAL RATING RESULT FOR JUICE BEAUTY MAKE-UP FOUNDATION/COLOR SAND: 3.5/5

Like I said, I am no expert in the make-up field, but I know my complexion and I know what I see. This color and make-up foundation is NOT FOR ME (vis-à-vis my skin, not everyone else’s).
